As you are aware, health care is experiencing a major shortage of licensed personnel in the United States, and, especially in the Northeast. Diman Regional School of Practical Nursing We, the faculty of Diman Regional School of Practical Nursing, share this concern.

Vision Statement
Diman Regional Technical Institute- School of Practical Nursing graduates will be occupationally-skilled workers whose academic, vocational/technical and workplace competencies will make them responsive to socioeconomic, technological and environmental challenges in a complex and changing society.

Mission Statement 
The mission of Diman Regional School of Practical Nursing is to develop the unique potential of each learner by enabling students to acquire knowledge skills and dispositions that are needed to achieve the theoretical and technical skills needed to function as an entry level Licensed Practical Nurse.

LPN Information Sessions
Attend one of our sessions to learn how you can prepare to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in as little as 10 months or 20 months part-time.

Over 50 years, Diman's nursing program changes locations, expands offerings

For more than five decades, the Diman Regional School of Practical Nursing has been training students to care for people in the community.

The technology and classroom space may have changed since the program started in 1959, but the students’ caring attitudes and love of nursing has remained the same. Story continues.
Preadmission Prep Course Refund Policy 2012-2013
Refund policy per course:
 
Withdrawal occurs after registration but prior to one week before class, tuition will be refunded 100%, less $25.00 for processing.
 
Withdrawal occurs one week before class to one week after the first class, tuition will be refunded 75%, less $25.00 processing fee.
 
Withdrawal occurs during the second week of class, tuition will be refunded at 50% less $25.00 processing cost.
 
After the second week of class there will be no refunds.
 
There will be no refunds for single sections that are registered for. Payment will gladly be applied to the next scheduled course.

PRACTICAL MATTERS: Diman School of Practical Nursing offers state-of-the-art learning tools
The School of Practical Nursing at the Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School just celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, but the facility in which the program is held is practically brand new. “It’s a beautiful building,” said Barbara Pitera, nurse administrator of the Diman Regional School of Practical Nursing. Widow of fallen Marine Cpl. Paul Fagundes strives to educate others on heroism of service members
Cindy Fagundes makes a point to talk to her two young children — Cazzian, 2, and Anya, 4 months — about their father on a daily basis.

Marine Cpl. Paul Fagundes passed away July 4, 2010, while attempting to rescue a pair of fellow Marines who were enjoying some time off and got caught in a riptide in the waters near Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. All three perished in the incident. Fagundes was 29 years old. Story continues.
